AgCountry Chief Risk Officer Jeff Schmidt recently participated in a roundtable event in Litchfield, MN hosted by U.S. Senator Tina Smith, D-MN, and Congressman Collin Peterson, D-MN, on Friday, April 5. The event was focused around the current conditions of the dairy industry.
Altogether, over 25 governmental, financial and educational organizations were present to provide elected officials with an idea of what they're seeing within the dairy industry. Senator Smith and Congressman Peterson each spoke about changes in the Farm Bill and how they could be of assistance during this tough period.
Also in attendance for AgCountry was Board Member Greg Sabolik, Litchfield VP Branch Manager Daryl Wattenhofer and Communications Consultant Adam Ulbricht.
