Urban Ag Day 2019 was held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on May 14 and 15. Eight FFA Chapters, representatives from AgCountry and several others groups shared their story of Agriculture with over 1,200 3rd graders from Twin Cities schools. They provided a farm experience in the city that included livestock, equipment and ag education stations.
AgCountry, along with the West Central Cattlemen, brought a grill to the city and grilled burgers for the students, FFA kids and volunteers in an effort to bridge the gap between farming and food.
