The West Central Research and Outreach Center (WCROC) will soon be getting technology upgrades thanks to a recent donation from AgCountry Farm Credit Services. The donation of $57,000 will help improve the sound system and overall experience of those who attend an event at the AgCountry Auditorium on the WCROC campus.

“The West Central Research and Outreach Center is pleased to receive the generous gift from AgCountry Financial Services,” said WCROC Director of Operations Michael Reese. “The gift will help us effectively deliver leading-edge research results to agricultural producers and other stakeholders across the region. We value our partnership with AgCountry and thank them for helping us lead innovation in agriculture and beyond!”

The AgCountry Auditorium has proven to be a valuable asset to the local community. It is widely used for agricultural conferences, workshops, and 4-H meetings among many others.

“The work that is being done at the WCROC is important for both agriculture and our rural communities,” said Market Vice President Brendon Foss of AgCountry. “It is important to have a space like this that allows the WCROC to showcase what they do and allow area organizations a place to gather.”

AgCountry employees Foss and Dean Meichsner presented the donation to Reese, on May 17.
